History & Vision
Advonix cc was founded in 2002 with the focus on new electronic module and system development. With experience in hardware & firmware development Advonix is positioned to serve industry providing the right solutions.

 

Biographical Information
Chris Smit received his masters degree in electronic engineering from the University of Stellenbosch in 1995. At Telkom he lead a team engineering UHF and microwave links and networks for 6 years. From 2001 he worked as RF-system engineer for Tellumat Broad Band Wireless (later bought by Stratex Networks Inc). He worked for South Africa’s own satellite developer, Sun Space & Information Systems, from 2004.
